Comparing Unitary and Federal Systems of Government - In the majority of nations, the public government contains multiple governments within itself, each of which have their own jurisdiction and laws. There are two systems of government, the unitary system and the federal system.

Most American citizens are quick to criticize federal bureaucracy for its size downsizing federal government and inefficiency.
